At Mohamed V airport, your driver will meet you and take you to Casablanca. Greetings from Morocco. It is not possible for you to enter Hassan II Mosque on Fridays or on religious holidays. This is the biggest mosque in Africa and the most esteemed place of worship in the world, with exquisitely crafted tiles. There could be a long wait for tickets, and the guided tours last around an hour.
You take a car to Rabat, the capital, in the afternoon. There are historical and cultural sites in the old medina, which is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You may spend the remainder of the day touring the Kasbah, Oudaya Gardens, and medina.
In a stunning riad in the center of the medina, you stay the night and have breakfast.
After having breakfast in your riad, you will go to the Hassan Tower, an unfinished mosque tower that was built in the late 12th century on the orders of Abu Yusuf Yaqub al-Mansur, the third Caliph of the Almohad Caliphate.
You will next pay a visit to Mohammed V’s Mausoleum, which was constructed as a memorial to the late ruler who died in 1961. Hassan II, his son and heir, is likewise interred here; he passed away in 1999. The mausoleum’s exquisite tilework is simply amazing; each little tile is cut by hand and then placed.
After that, you continue north on the road to Chefchaouen, detouring through Ouazzane and then heading through the mountains to get there. After we get there, we may spend the evening relaxing in one of the numerous tiny cafés or strolling about the charming streets and up and down alleys.
You stay the night in a lovely riad and have breakfast there.
After breakfast in your riad, we leave for Fes, passing through lush farms and admiring the breathtaking scenery of the Rif Mountains.
Our route takes us to the renowned UNESCO World Heritage Site of Volubilis, where the remnants of the ancient Roman civilisation are spread across a vast area. Here, it is possible to hire a local guide for greater insight into the fascinating history of this expansive heritage site.
Shortly after, you will visit the sacred town of Moulay Edriss Zerhouni. Although access to the mausoleum is restricted to non-Muslims, we can still explore the main square, which provides picturesque views and houses delightful small shops.
From here, we continue through the hills and the mountains to Fes, which will be the venue for dinner and the overnight stay in a beautiful riad.
The day tour starts at your Fes accommodation. After that, we go to Meknes, the capital of the Ismailis and one of Morocco’s royal towns. whereby we pay visits to the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum, the Royal Stables, the Sahrij Souani Basin, Bab Al-Mansour, and the granary.
Lunch break is available. After that, we travel 30 km outside of Meknes to the historic Volubilis Roman ruins. Given that UNESCO has designated it as a World Heritage Site, it has been kept in good condition. It contains old pillars and arches strewn throughout, as well as several exquisite mosaics.

Traveling along a lovely road surrounded by green oaks and cedar trees, you continue driving over the Middle Atlas Mountains and via the Tizi-n-Talremt pass until you reach Azrou, where you may spot Barbary apes watching for food.
